For years people have debated and speculated on what they believe is the reason men cheat, some have been true and some I think are not as accurate. Most of the articles were written by women, and no offense to women but I think men would know best why MEN cheat.

When I was choosing what article to post first, 98% of women I asked wanted to see this article first. Males picked this topic only 2% of their votes. Reason for that is I believe most men already know the top reasons to cheat. So this article will be something of interest to both men and women.

I’m going to discuss the top 4 reasons men drift away and some things women can do to prevent them.

4. Opportunity

Sadly enough as men, we get nowhere near as much attention from opposite sex as women. Women are offered sex every day in well hidden ways, just have to be perceptive. When a guy lets you cut in line and you happen to be a cute big breasted girl with her thong showing, that’s an offer of sex. In our mind we are hoping it sparks a conversation, exchange of numbers, a date, and then sex. But it typically doesn’t work that way for us though.

Hence, when in a relationship and shown interest by another female that we have not initiated, it intrigues us. It takes personal will (especially if the girl is attractive) for us to not indulge.

Prevention:
Women, there is actually not much you can do to prevent opportunity. That is completely out of your hands; best thing you can do is make your man feel special and needed so when an opportunity presents itself he thinks to himself that he already has a good thing.

This is one I did not see anyone bring up and I think is an important motive. I don’t think there is anyone who does not like positive attention by the opposite sex, makes you feel wanted and boosts your self esteem. And it has been reported that your body produces more pheromones when you have an attraction to a person, which creates an intoxicating like feeling. Girls at this stage often show the man what I like to call their “representative”, both guys and girls show this, usually at first stages of dating. “Representatives” display only their best qualities, and are extremely nice and seem to say the right thing. They don’t mind the guy hanging out late, or drinking on the weekends or just seeing him every so often. Guys love to have freedom, and girls who give that are treasured. If this type of attention is not present in your relationship or has severely decreased, this can remind the guy how great things were when you first started talking. He could then be likely to explore options with the female in efforts to re-establish those feelings.

Prevention:
Best way to prevent this situation is to make sure you give him a good amount of attention without going overboard, brief flashes on the regular basis is best. Remember when you first started dating and you text each other for hours until you fell asleep then first thing in the morning? Do those things; send him random sexy messages now and then, which can go a long way.

2. Lack of Sexual Acts

I say sexual acts because it may not always be intercourse, oral sex, or foreplay would be covered by this. A lot of relationships start off with the couple having a significant amount of sex then as time goes on it starts to deteriate. Now it’s understandable that certain things can arise or take place over that time that may cause this. But when it comes to the point when the man asks the women for certain pleasures, and the first thing the woman does is roll her eyes or go “Ugh”…..There’s a problem. Lack of these particular favors could make him roam.

Prevention:

You have to be able to recognize subtle changes as well as you do the drastic ones, when little things here and there change constantly this could be the cause. Once it gets bad enough, best thing to do is to try and make him talk about it. Try not to seem like your nagging him or yelling at him, seem concerned, the other moods may make him not want to conversate. If you find out in enough time you can save yourself a lot of grief that would be caused later on.

Overview

If most of the insight I have provided is considered and followed, for the most part you will have a satisfied man. More often than not, satisfied men don’t wonder off. I say more often, because there are those who make you scratch your head saying “why the hell would he do that?” because they seem to get what they need/want. Those are the select few that just want variety; there is no curving that, he has to want to change that. Try to keep the relationship exciting, surprise with: sex, backrubs, home cooked meal (for those who can cook, if you can’t, order take out!) or even watch a few of his favorite sports with him. Then, MTV Cribs came out and we got to see how sports stars lived. Now we've gotten a glimpse into their lives marriages, children, mistresses and maybe a little bit more than we want to know about now.

When it used to be just simply all about their lives on the field. I can remember when they wanted take Pete Rose out of the Hall of Fame. I honestly couldn't believe that they wanted to take away a lifetime of achievements from a man because he made a mistake off the field.

I do realize that you need to be accountable for your actions but it seems that sports are just getting blurred with what so-and-so does off the field. Tiger Woods is an amazing athlete and now all it seems his legacy will be is---- how many women he slept with.

The Lovely Bones is a longwinded, tonally disjointed movie from Peter Jackson. Going from sweeping fantasy to cat-and-mouse thriller to psychological drama, the only thing you can be sure of is that you aren't supposed to be feeling good. Whilst there are some relatively powerful moments ? a scene where all the girls murdered by the same man meet is noteworthy ? overall it is badly edited and contains too many scenes that fall dreadfully flat. The apex of its failures appearing in an embarrassing interaction near the end between Susie and her crush Ray (Reece Ritchie); fortunately by that point you're used to the crassness. Taking two years in post production due to the overwhelmingly intricate computer effects of the 'in-between', The Lovely Bones offers up a delicious platter of grand CGI images for your eyes to feast on. The highlight is an awe-inspiring segment with gigantic glass bottles containing ships smashing against the rocks. The only issue is that these phantasmagorical treats lose their varnish due to being randomly inserted among other scenes with a completely different vibe. Shame about the muddled, mediocre screenplay because the acting level is quite high from all involved. Mark Wahlberg is possibly the standout, his obsessed father the most likable and believable character of the lot thanks to his passionate performance. The young Saoirse Ronan (Oscar nominated for her role in Atonement) is certainly one to follow; her portrayal of Susie is fantastic, especially considering she was only 13 during filming. Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon and Rachel Weisz all turn in solid supporting parts, even if Weisz's character grinds on the nerves. A couple of jaw-dropping special effects sequences and an impressive cast save this from becoming the biggest flop of 2009... just.
